About the Artist
There is something truly magical happening in Christopher Sharples’ photographs which is created by the interplay between the real and unreal, the seen and unseen. Chris has a true eye for gesture, whether it be the gesture or nature or of man. His photography is more akin to the act of drawing than the technical capturing of digital images. It is this draughtsman's eye that controls the camera and sees that which we do not.
