Far Far Gallery is a new and evolving exhibition and studio space that will bring contemporary art to the rural community of Cropredy, North Oxfordshire. The gallery conversion is the evolution of a long established Lockbund Gallery and Lockbund Foundry programme, created by artists, Simon Allison and Jane Hamilton, that spans over three decades.

Far Far Gallery will present exhibitions across all mediums - including painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media. Alongside individual artist and group exhibitions, will be shows curated from an extensive private collection of contemporary art. The ever evolving collection includes works across disciplines and generations; we are excited to share pieces that are usually out of reach of the public unless in urban areas.

Central to the purpose of the new gallery is the creation of artist residency and work experience opportunities. Our hope is to provide early-career and established artists with the opportunity to inhabit a working studio, with access to experienced staff and other artists. Residencies have often culminated in an exhibition, Far Far will allow the continuation and growth of this programme - making new connections and offering space and support to artists and their practice.

As yet Far Far Gallery is not fully formed, follow us on instagram to keep up-to-date with our projects and progress.
